Happy New Year & We LOVE Winter Retreat!! (January Update)

 

Hello, everyone! I hope your New Year is off to a great start! I know that “his mercies are new every morning” (Lamentations 3:22-23), but there is something about a New Year that feels like a fresh start! 

One of the BEST things we do all year is our Winter Retreat! All of our campuses come together to spend a long weekend praising God, diving deeper into the Word, and getting to know people from other campuses. We had 830 people at our retreat this year!! WHAT?! 

Here are some videos from our worship. I was blessed to get to lead one of the sessions and it is just so life giving to me to experience 800+ people worshiping the Lord from that perspective! 

Johnny was able to get a video from what my vantage point would have been… if seeing 800 college students fired up for the Lord doesn’t fire YOU up, I don’t know what can!

We had Marty Solomon who teaches the BEMA podcast come and teach on Genesis. It was amazing!! He ministered to the heart while also teaching about a lot of the context that we may miss. Other than Winter Retreat and some big winter storm that cancelled a week of school, everything is going smoothly!!
