Happy New Year!! (January Update)

 Happy New Year, everyone! 

The month of January was so refreshing.

To start everything off, we had our Winter Retreat! We bring all of our FOCUS campuses together (700+ students, pastors, and some alum!) for a weekend of praise and worship, teaching, fellowship, and fun! I'm convinced that listening to 700 people praise God is a glimpse of Heaven. It is so sweet.

I got to teach a cheer class as an activity for anyone that wanted to come and that was super silly and fun. I led worship for one of the nights which was WILD and filled my soul to the brim.

My friend Lindsey is leading the planting of a ministry at TCU this year! She had 11 students come to Winter Retreat. I'm so excited to see how God continues to move at TCU!

During Worship

So, Winter Retreat was awesome. 

The rest of January was great. Students came back to school and we had our first Friday night of the semester... it was so energetic! Everyone was happy to be back. We have been having students "host" the fellowship night, and one of our students Nathaniel is moving to Israel. He hosted and closed with a blessing, which was really touching! 

I have a lot of my meetings in a Starbucks on campus. I was there with a pair of my girls and there were so many other FOCUS people there! So I took this funny video of all of us there... 

Overall, it was a great month! Thanks for supporting me and for praying for me.
